you know it does sound really funny and amusing to hear Chester speak with a Brit accent especially if he picks up on some of my 'geordie' slang , oh yes the biscuits and gravy thing did have me grimacing at first until I realised exactly what it was : ) We play scrabble quite a bit and the spellings are always getting questioned , we have to agree at the start which version we play Brit or Yanky we are getting used to all these differences now and have had some good laughs about it all , as long as the language of love is there then thats the important thing .
My friend from Oxford sent my folks a tin of biscuits and it wasn't what they were expecting, although they liked 'em.
It took me a while to go back to saying "Oh crap!" (or something like that) instead of "Cor, Blimey!"
My friend said her kids laughed at her after staying nearly a month over here; when she got back, she prepared the evening meal and and instead of telling them to come to tea, said
