I fed some hogs of mine the dregs of a bbl. of water soaked/softened seed wheat and it had soured and fermented. After eating it, those pigs ran in circles and squealed with drunken frenzy, then after about an hour or so, fell down wherever they were into a sleep. They also acted lethargic for a while and it couldn't have been anything other than a hangover.
I've also seen things on birds eating berries that have fermented.
